Banana Bread

   This bread makes a great addition to and Sunday brunch.Moist and flavorful,it is sure to be enjoyed by all.Feel free to add chocolate chips if you would like to make it sweeter!

Ingredients:
2 eggs
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk
3 very ripe bananas mashed
2-1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg(I use freshly grated)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. walnuts,toasted and chopped
   Mix the flour,cinnamon,nutmeg,salt,baking soda & baking powder together in a bowl.In the bowl of your mixer,blend the sugars and the eggs together for 2 minutes.Add the oil,vanilla,milk and bananas.Mix just until combined.Stir in the walnuts.
     Butter a loaf pan,and pour the batter into the pan.Bake at 350 degrees for approximately one hour.Test by inserting a toothpick or cake tester into the cake to ensure it is done.Let cool before slicing.
***If not using right away,do not slice.Wrap tightly and slice before serving.
***To toast the walnuts,spread them out on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees.Let cool ,then chop.
