Gift Ideas for Mother's Day

Mother's Day is just around the corner so I thought I'd share some fun gift ideas. What better way to celebrate the special women in our lives than by supporting some incredible female entrepeneurs? Here is a list of wonderful gift ideas from some very creative ladies.

I think we all are familiar with Joanna Gaines. If your mom is a fan, her new cookbook would make a lovely gift. Add a little ribbon and a wooden kitchen utensil and you are all set! If mom is a big fan, a subscription to Magnolia magazine would be a nice gift idea as well.

While we are talking cookbooks, this lovely lady from Arkansas not only opened her dream gift shop for the home, but also completed her first cookbook last year. Amy Hannon is a little dynamo, out promoting her book, hosting "Cook the Book" classes all while running her beautiful shop Eunamae's. Her book is filled with fun recipes and her message of love through food is inspiring! This book would make a great gift for any mom who loves to cook. If you happen to live near her shop, sign mom up for a class, or just stop in for a visit and pick something special from the wonderful array of housewares she offers. They will wrap it for you to give it that extra special touch! www.eunamaes.com

If your mother is like me and has a sweet tooth, then Iva Jean's delicious fudge might be the perfect gift. Her fudge comes in a wide variety of flavors and is a gift sure to please. A great company with a wonderful story. www.ivajeansfudge.com

Rosie O'Neill started Sugarfina, an elegant candy company with something for everyone. Choose from a small box of sweet treats to the more elaborate bento boxes or suitcases of goodies. I love their sea salt chocolate covered cashews and caramels, but there is a wide variety to choose from. The presentation is wonderful ,as are the treats inside. They even make rose' gummy roses for wine lovers. www.sugarfina.com

What is Mother's Day without flowers? Farmgirl Flowers is another great company with a female at the helm. Christina makes beautiful, unique floral arrangements. They are not only original, but they are wrapped in burlap which makes for a charming, rustic presentation. The prices aren't low, but if they are within your range, this makes a one of a kind gift for mom.

I'll be back with a few more gift ideas before the big day! Enjoy your day!
